Fiona Champion Wins Favourite Painting Award

We're so pleased to share that Fiona Champion has won the visitor vote for Favourite Painting at this year's Canvas Club exhibition.

Her striking lion portrait became one of those pieces people couldn't walk past without stopping. Guests kept leaning in close to admire the detail, then stepping back again to take in its presence. Many told us it felt almost alive — calm, proud, and watching the room with real character.

What makes this award especially meaningful is that every single vote came from the people who visited the exhibition. It's a genuine reflection of how Fiona's work connected with everyone who saw it.
